Since Sumemr is right around the corner. Please be ready for Clan RKS new summer mode! We will require you to post 0.25 per day. If you do not post 0.25 per days you will get warnings. If you get more than 3 warnings we will demote you. On warning system we can only warn you once every two days. If we warn you 3x a day that just unfair. The warnings will reset after you are above 0.25 per day. When you are demoted you will lose GHost access and you cannot reapply for soldier for three days. Why are we changing summer mode? The answer to this it was the standard requirement for Clan RKS. Since people had "school mode" Alex changed it to 0.15 during school mode. Also posting topics is not hard. Just make topics that are reasonable that is not consider spam as well. Why are we making post 0.25? That a lot of posting! No it is not a lot of posting. August 2010 Update IMPORTANT: Summer mode and school mode have now been removed. Soldiers are required to maintain a 0.25 post count. For commander, it will be announced later. I will create a separated post to alert commanders of the requirement. Commander Commanders have a new requirement. You need to be in clan for one month in order to be promoted. This was debated on in the staff lounge and we settled on having a one month time requirement. Applicants also need to state why you want to and should be a commander. Code: e. Must have been a member for at least a month. f. Member must state why they would be suitable for Commander rank in their application. Pacific Gas and Electric, the power company serving us has upgraded our meters this afternoon, thus there was a power interruption requiring server restart of http, mysql database, Teamspeak 3 servers and RKS_Bots 1-3. June 2010 Update Something new and important: Since we had a couple of IP banning issues and some unhosting issues. I will say now that on our Host Bot Guide we have two need updates on there so that we can resolve some of these problems. Please know that you are REQUIRED to look at it if you are a soldier or above in Clan RKS. Please help us reduce traffic and reduce IP banning. Shaman Rotation Shaman rotation is a swap between active member for shaman. We will now use this system to help make our clan appear more active and availability with trust worthy clan members. We are going to keep on switching and from what I am aware of it will keep occurring. Summer Mode Please take a look at summer mode! We are going back to standard posting to 0.25 during summer. Please get ready for summer mode which will begin on June 18th, 2010! We will return back to school mode on September 1. Team Fortress 2 Division The Team Fortress 2 Division is now open! Check out the server at server.clanrks.com:27015 Hlstatsx is also available: http://hlstatsx.clanrks.com/ You can join the Team Fortress 2 division steam community at: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/clanrkstf2 See our forums as well just newly opened right after the Starcraft II forums. Members from the Warcraft III division are granted guest rank of one level down from their Warcraft III division rank. If you are a soldier in the Warcraft III division then you are granted guest rank of recruit in the Team Fortress 2 division without having to apply for that division. See Demon_Hunter309 / Zangetsuslayer for details on Team Fortress 2 division ranking details. Fanime 2010 As you may or may not know, FanimeCon 2010 is approaching this Memorial Day weekend (US holiday) May 28-31 2010. I will be attending the whole event, therefore I will be out for the next five days. I'm definitely excited, although I'm hoping it'll be better than last year. Demon_Hunter309 will be handling the more trivial matters, while Frostdread will be in charge and will have the final decision in all rulings. I'm sure everyone is aware of our hardware issues by now. We have experienced intermittent problems such as Modems randomly restarting, Routers crashing for no apparent reason, and the "server box" which is really me mum's computer being heavily taxed during peak capacity (such as Fridays and weekends, especially at night.) This problem can be solved by getting a new half decent dedicated server for about 600 US dollars. The donate button can be found at the top. So please help her, won't you?
