Hardware Issues

I'm sure everyone is aware of our hardware issues by now. We have experienced intermittent problems such as Modems randomly restarting, Routers crashing for no apparent reason, and the "server box" which is really me mum's computer being heavily taxed during peak capacity (such as Fridays and weekends, especially at night.) This problem can be solved by getting a new half decent dedicated server for about 600 US dollars. The donate button can be found at the top.

So please help her, won't you?

Weekly Update: Jan 18 2010. Server Hardware Failure

The hard drive and motherboard have failed.

The hard drive has reached critical with a rating of 0% fitness.

If you read the report it has over 37552 offline uncorrectable sectors, which is pretty bad. The motherboard refuses to load any operating system at all. All is not lost however, I managed to backup everything of importance such as server files and databases and I will be replacing the hard drive tomorrow. It will be a bigger, better, faster hard drive.

0.40 was slated for late December but has been delayed until January.
New intend to-do list:

Fix heroes items not dropped instead of dropping at hero location.
Release dual 3v3v3 and 5v5 versions.
At at least one new hero and one new item.

Trip to San Fransisco.

I'm going to be going on a trip to SF till Friday Night, until then, I expect everyone to keep it mature while I'm gone. Any incidents, please note the exact time, day, time zone, where it took place (game or channel), and a detailed description of what happened/your complaint/incident and Private Message me via this Board's Private Messaging system. Anyone with access 60 or higher can use the .ban command from the channel and 70 or higher can add to shitlist. Please Private message me if you do ban or shitlist people. (.ban <user>, .shitlist <user>) so I can keep track. If you do ban / shitlist someone, please make sure it is in your best judgement, or else I may revoke your admin for abuse. Please do not lift shitlists or bans if you do ban someone. I will lift them once I review them after I get back.

Warcraft 3 - United War: AnM

With much support, I've decided to open up a forum for ideas and suggestions for my current project: United War: AnM. And also if I could get some money off google advertisement, I could raise money to pay for a server, or possibly host my own with an upgraded internet. CS:S Server Online!

Some of you may remember the good old days of [RKS] on Counter-Strike 1.6.... Well those days are here to stay!
Well sort of...
The clan has now expanded to Counter-Strike Source! We now have a public 20 slot server that is running at a 100 Tick rate!
Server side everything is together, but we are in the process of installing Psychostats so that you can track your playing.

The new server can be found @ server2.clanrks.com:27015 !

With the addition of this new game and server, the recruitment forums have now been opened for the CS:S division!
Everyone stop by and enjoy yourself!

I intended to work on it this weekend but I got caught up in watching kellandor play DotA with my favorite character: Venomancer. >.>
New intend to-do list:

Remove hero and place items on floor when they leave.
Add Genocide sound/event (An entire team wiped out == Genocide).

Moved server: to dedicated a computer. (Yes, the server you're on now reading this, benefits are more uptime and hopefully less lag now that it's off my main computer that I game on.) Tell me what you think.

Reminders:
October 15, 2009, all non-registered Clan members are required to have a registered forum account. Failure to do so will result in demotion to Recruit level.

So far people were already in compliance with the required registration rule. I continue to monitor who comes in the clan channel and check if they have a forum account.
Starting November 1, 2009, all Clan members with a soldier level are required to have a minimum count of 0.12 posts per day. Mathematical equivalents are one post per eight days or four posts per 32 days. Failure to meet the minimum amount will result in demotion to Recruit level.
0.12 posts is the post requirement between the months of September to May.
0.25 posts is the requirement from June to August.
Special exceptions may be made on a case by case basis for the minimum posting requirement, please contact me via the board's private messaging system if you believe you have certain extenuating circumstances that do not permit you to meet these posting minimum requirements set forth.
In order to have Bot Admin, the requirement is soldier + grunt. Therefore being demoted to Recruit will result in loss of Bot Admin.

New Clause which bumps the old clause 12 (golden rule clause) to 14.
New Clause 12 and 13:

Please be sure to link posts and forward any PMs related to your complaint to the administrator to which you are addressing your complaint.

United War was recently quickfixed for 1.24. Although I do not like the current method as it results in the removal of the Mistress of Romance.
What is planned for the next version:
