April Fools~ This is a work of fiction. RKS will continue to operate normally. Quote: Hi all, As many of you may have noticed, it's been months since we've had over 50 plus people online, those days are long gone. What's left nothing too bright, so today after careful consideration we've decided that it's time to throw in the towel and move on. Inactivity by many Clan RKS members on both Minecraft and on other games have contributed to this decision. We're cutting our losses and moving on with life. All the servers will be shutting down by the end of today, April 1st, 2013. Take your time to say your good byes. It's been one wild ride, ten years in the making, but today it ends. I want to thank everyone who's been around to share this wonderful community. We've had many members that have come and gone, we even get regular players that have come and gone as well. It is and has been one hella of a ride. It is the end of a journey, but with an end always comes new beginnings. The journey is more important than the end or the start. What: Clan RKS Monthly Meeting Where: Clan RKS Teamspeak Server When: Second Saturday/Sunday of next month, this Saturday/Sunday at (9/10 February 2013).
If your time isn't listed reply and we'll update it. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting. All staff members please post in the staff lounge if you are not able to attend that day. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we are able to know if you (staff) are attending that day. All general members are welcome to this meeting. Staff meeting at 3 pm Pacific time so subtract 2 hours from the general meeting and you can extract the time. Respect within the Community Part of a series on Respect from the Respect Drives Us program by RKS Quote: Recently it has been observed that a certain user within the community has been disrespected consistently by a certain majority of the community. If you observe disrespect, it is your duty as a community member member to ask people propagating it to stop or at the very least report it to the Administration Team. Do not turn a blind eye just because you personally feel a user deserves a certain way of treatment, including calling them insulting names. That is not consistent with the principles of RKS nor with the Community Wide rules about respect. Give respect, get respect. It is a two way street. Don't talk about people behind their backs. If you want to go talk about people behind their backs, go on some kiddy server like E****** R***** MC or C****** MC. We don't want it here. If this continues, members of the community involved in propagating a negative environment for this user may be banned. "Oh, but Alex! ...everyone hates that user!" You don't have to like anybody here, but you still have to retain a certain level of maturity. Just because there is PvP and Factions on the RKS MC server does NOT give you permission to be a douche or have blatant disregard for the rules.
