Clan [RKS] - Admin Abuse

READ THIS IF YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED for admin abuse. First, if your account just got banned, you are probably pissed off. Before you go posting, read this so you can understand what has happened.

VVFT I got banned?!?!

Your account got banned because we detected a admin abuse being used with your account. Period. We didn't make a mistake. We will not un-ban your account regardless of the reason. It doesn't matter if someone else used your account, you didn't know what you were doing was wrong, your brother or sister abused and you didn't know about it, etc. Use of your admin account is your responsibility. We may not ban your account immediately, the abuse violation may have occurred weeks earlier. That means you might have abused, thought you were not caught, but actually you were caught. We just didn't ban you right away.

What can I do if I get banned?

You can still play on other servers through Steam. If your account is banned then any attempt to access the server through your steam account will be blocked. You must use a different account to access the server, although it will not have any of your admin privledges or your levels. Be advised that if you abuse again, you will be banned permanently. Make absolutely sure that you (or anyone else using your account) will not abuse again before connecting to the [RKS] server.

Do us a favor. Don't post on here and ask for "proof" or say you weren't abusing. Nobody will believe you, and it won't do you any good except maybe to vent a bit.

How will I know if I have been banned?

If your admin account abused while connected to the [RKS] server, your admin account will be banned at some point in the future. The detection may have happened at any time – possibly days or even weeks before the ban went into effect. Your account will be notifed when attempting to connect to the [RKS] server.

For how long will my account be banned?

1st Time: Banned from the [RKS] Server for twenty-four hours.
2nd Time: Banned from the [RKS] Server permanently.

Do we ever make mistakes?

There are no "false positives". We will not un-ban you for any reason. You are responsible for your admin account regardless of who used your account.

How do I prevent being banned in the future?

Protect your Login and Password to Steam. Never give it out. If you play on a public machine, make sure you log out of Steam when you are finished playing. If you use Steam on a computer other than your own make sure the location and/or owner is trustworthy and has not admin abused. We will not disclose the abuses that were detected running on your account or the date and time the infraction took place.
